Dartford Museum

Dartford Museum has been collecting a range of unique and fascinating objects and information relating to the story of Dartford since 1906. Though the museum is only small, it is packed with several fantastic items, all of which are free to see and are provided by Dartford Borough Council. Located on Market Street in Dartford Town Centre, the museum is located in the same building as the library, which is said to be haunted.

By 1921, Dartford Museum moved into the library building, where a purpose-built extension was created to house the museum.

The museum holds the history of Dartford in chronological order, from pre-history right through to the 20th Century.
